*MASTERPOST*

Nino opened the door, as if he was walking to his own room, looked at Ohno and unceremoniously jumped on Jun’s bed. Matsumoto was away, probably having another session with Soejima. Kazunari rolled in the bed, cuddling to the taller man’s pillow and sighed happily, acting like a teenage girl that was allowed to do anything she wanted in her beloved senpai’s room. He smelled the pillow, mumbling something about new perfumes and some other random things. Satoshi didn’t pay attention to him, drawing something, as usual drowning in his own world.

“What are you drawing, prince?” Ninomiya smiled and stared at the latter, who shook his head and continued his sketch. “Aw, come on, show me~! Show me, show me, show me~!” The blond man started to whine and acted like a child who wants a cookie. Just that made Ohno to look at him and his eyes widened, probably because Kazunari was still covered with mud, even though the bigger part of it was smeared up on Jun’s sheets.

“W-why?” Satoshi whispered curiously and looked at the dirty bed.

“I will tell you if you show me your drawing!” Nino smiled cutely and made those puppy eyes, which he believed were irresistible. The latter shook his head but after a while he gave Kazunari a small nod and opened his notebook on the last page.

“Uwaa~~! You are good!” Nino whistled and admired a picture showing two male silhouettes in a strange dance. The faces were blank, so it was hard to tell who Satoshi had drawn but all in all, the sketch was really great. “Nee, tell me who is it? It’s not finished yet so I can’t tell…”

“It is finished…” Ohno whispered and hid his notebook under his bed and left the room, not letting the blond man ask any more questions. He probably went to the nurses to ask for new notebook. Kazunari used the opportunity and dived under Satoshi’s bed, founding several notebooks there. He opened them and looked at the pictures, seeing male silhouettes in many poses; sometimes the man with burned face drew the woods and some animals. All of his pictures had one common characteristic - none of the people drawn by him had face, just the blank spot.

“Interesting…” Nino mumbled and smirked, looking through the sketches.

“What are you doing here?!” Matsumoto’s voice startled him a bit, but he decided not to show that to the latter.

“I am knitting a tiny sweater for out model-chan. What do you think I am doing!? I am watching my prince’s pictures.”

“I hope he allowed you to see… MY BED!!!” Jun gasped. Kazunari looked at him and smirked.

“I didn’t know that I have to have a permission to see your bed… Next time I will close my eyes, promise!” The blond man bowed gently and then looked at Matsumoto amused.

“What the fuck did you do?! And why?!” The taller man was mad and it was obvious that he is just an inch away from exploding.

“Oh, come on! I thought you like when I do dirty things in your bed… At least you let me think that way after our last… meeting…”

“You are really sick!”

“Tell me something I don’t know. Nee, sweetie pie, wanna go and explore the forest in the evening?” Nino smiled and sat on Jun’s bed, since it was already dirty.

“Get your dirty ass out of here!” Matsumoto grabbed the shorter man’s shirt and literarily threw him out of the room.

“Aahh, meannie!” Kazunari sighed and went to his room, trying to get rid of the dry mud he still had on his body. The only suitable place for his clothes will be the rubbish bin probably, so he took them off and scrubbed his skin hard. “I need a good shower…”

“Not now Ninomiya-san. The calligraphy classes are about to start.” Goto leaned against the door jamb and looked at the blond man, smirking.

“Daddy, can I skip school today? My tummy hurts!” Nino pouted and lay in his bed, curling up and whining.

“I am not going to be conned for your joke. You made a prank to Matsumoto, so now you have to take your punishment. Get up and come to the classroom or I will drag you there, and believe me you don’t want your lieges to see that, huh?” Akira moved few steps closer and crossed his arms on the chest. “Your call.”

“Okay, okay I am going… Geez…” Kazunari got up and danced his way to the classroom, skipping like a little boy. “Nee, daddy and where is my bentou?” He giggled and before the head of the nurses managed to react in any way he went inside the room, shouting his usual welcoming. Ninomiya noticed that his place was taken by the guy he called sweetie pie. In few jumps he got closer to Jun and smiled widely.

“You took my place.” The blond man pointed out and tilted his head.

“It wasn’t signed.” Matsumoto smirked and leaned back. Nino was sure it was his small revenge for the bed incident earlier. However there was a weapon the shorter man could use; something Jun doesn’t have… He was a psycho…

“You don’t understand… You took my place…” Kazunari repeated, still with smile glued to his face. When Jun didn’t move an inch and there was no sign that the classes will start before the blond man will sit down, Ninomiya took the brush and wet it in the black ink. With one smooth move he wrote big, beautifully calligraphed K and started to wave the fude as if it was some kind of sword.

“What the…” Matsumoto cursed and looked at his brand new white T-shirt, which was ruined now.

“I, noble Kazunarro have marked you! You shall leave this place!” Nino looked serious, even though inside he was boiling. Jun’s cute quite giggle made him burst in laughter and soon whole class, including Ohno, was snickering.

“Kazunarro my ass…” Matsumoto laughed and wiped his tears.

“Maybe later, sweetie pie…” Ninomiya whispered and looked at the taller man somehow seriously.
____

Ohno loved the calligraphy lessons. It was almost like drawing, the lines of the characters dancing together to form words on the paper. With it he could create beautiful things, hiding himself behind it from the world. The classes were always too short for his liking, but luckily he still had his brand-new sketchbook to work with so as soon as the class ended he silently walked to his room, sitting down in his favorite spot. His pencil lingered above the paper of the first empty page but he hesitated. He didn't know how long he was sitting here but he couldn't get himself to start his new drawing. It didn't make any sense; he already knew what he wanted to draw. The picture was clear in his head. Then why didn't it want to get out? Biting on the back of his pencil he tore his eyes away from the white paper, looking into the room without seeing anything.

It’s not finished yet

"It is... it is finished..." He softly muttered, his legs unfolding themselves and finding their way to the ground. He got on his knees and as he reached out to his notebooks he noticed something was wrong. They weren't in the place they were supposed to be. The covers had some mud on them, tiny spots but still noticeable to him. Slowly he opened the notebook on top, looking at his drawings. His hands started to tremble as he looked at the figures without faces.

It’s not finished yet

Clenching his pencil he picked one of the pictures, showing a drawing of a small boy, holding a teddy bear in front of his chest. Even though he was shaking all over his hand was steady as it started to draw, slowly filling the empty face of the figure. The eyes were too hard, the lines too thick in comparison with the rest of the drawing. The nose too long, the mouth too wide, opened in what looked like a silent scream of desperation. Clenching his pencil harder he filled in the surroundings, big flames starting to consume the figure on the paper. A big drop fell on the paper, followed by some more, which made him realize tears were running down his face.

It’s not finished yet

He turned the page, starting to fill in the faces with thick, black lines. People shouldn't have faces. Everyone should look the same, every single face in his drawing should look the same. Empty wasn't finished, but how could he know how to draw a face when he couldn't even look at his own? If he couldn't have a normal face, his drawings, the people in his world couldn't have them either. It wasn't fair. He pressed too hard on the paper, his pencil tearing through the sheets. After a few pages he couldn't take it anymore and threw the notebook through the room, screaming and grabbing the other notebook that was beside him. With much force he started to tear the pages out, ripping them in smaller pieces and crumbling them before throwing them in different directions. In the corner of his eye, he saw someone enter the room but disappear right away again.

"They were finished!" He yelled to no one in particular, his voice breaking as he started to cry heavily, screaming all the pain he felt inside out. He crawled to the nightstand of Jun, knowing his roommate had a lighter inside. With shaking hands he got it out, grabbing the notebook which was close to him. Before he could do any more the notebook and lighter were suddenly grabbed out of his hands and thrown out of the room.

"No! They have to burn! I have to finish them!" He struggled against the hands that were trying to hold him, surprising his attacker with his strength. But before he could get to the lighter and the notebook again he was pushed down to the ground, someone sitting on top of him.

"Satoshi calm down." The voice of Akira came from above him, his tone soothing but stern. Ohno cried out in desperation, trying to throw the man off him but both his arms were grabbed and held on his back. His eyes were focused on the lighter and notebook, feeling desperate to burn the drawings. Ninomiya had said they were good, but how can they be good when they don't have a face? He didn't have a face and it was clear he would never be good enough for anyone. His drawings can never be good if he doesn't know how to give them a face, a beautiful face. A pair of feet stopped in front of the notebook and lighter, the knees bending as two hands picked up the items. He knew those hands, he knew everyone's hands.

"Ninomiya put those down!" Akira said loudly above Ohno's head.

"I'm just helping." Ninomiya said innocently, playing with the lighter and flicking it on, making Ohno's eyes widen and struggle once again against the man on top of him. Inside he was torn apart between encouraging the man to set the notebook on fire and getting away from the flame as far as he could.

"I think you have already done enough. Put those down now!"

"I don't think these belong to you. If prince doesn't want me to take them he should say so, but I'm not hearing anything. What were you going to do with them anyway prince? You are afraid of fire aren't you?" Ninomiya moved closer with the lighter still on, making Ohno scream but this time in fear. The fear of the fire in front of him overwhelmed everything, making his tears run faster over his face.

"Ninomiya, get out or you are getting isolation!" Finally the flame went out, the lighter and the notebook falling to the ground.

"Fine, I'm going." As Ninomiya's feet walked out a new pair came in the room with rushed steps.

"What's going on?" Soejima asked concerned and if Ohno would have looked up, he knew he would see his worried face.

"I'm not sure. Jun warned me that Satoshi was screaming and tearing his drawings. When I walked in, he found a lighter and tried to set his notebook on fire." Akira answered, loosening his grip a little as he noticed Ohno was slightly calmer than before. Soejima lowered himself, trying to look in Ohno's eyes but he avoided any eye contact.

"He said something about finishing them and that he needed to burn them. I think he was talking about his drawings. Something must have happened today." Akira continued and he sighed. "I have a feeling Ninomiya has something to do with it, but I'm not sure." Soejima shook his head.

"Let's give him a medication, so he will able to sleep. I will talk to him the first thing tomorrow." Ohno started to struggle again. He didn't want to sleep, not after seeing fire so close by such a short time ago. It would only give him his nightmares that would haunt him the whole night.

"It's okay Satoshi, you will feel better after some sleep." Akira tried to calm him down, aware to what was going on inside the artist's mind. He wanted to tell the man he was calm again, that he didn't need anything but the words didn't come out anymore, bringing him back to his usual silent state. As he was laid down on his bed a syringe flashed in front of his eyes, injecting the sleep medication inside of him. He could feel the immediate effect of it as his body went limp, only tears falling out of the corners of his eyes as flames in his dream started to consume him.
