I like this, I think it makes a lot of sense. I'm afriad I don't believe in whiter than white Ianto and it makes complete sense to me that he would act like this to stop himself from being alone with his memories. Nicely done.

Exactly. This is actually a bit nicer than I usually am to Ianto, implying he's at least getting some on his own.

Much though I hate to admit it (I bathe in denial every day) from what we see in CoE this totally rings true. Ianto lost almost everything when Lisa died and to be kept at arms length by Jack would hurt so much I can see him indulging in temporary relief in a strange bed.

I think there's a major difference in how Ianto wants it to be vs what actually exists, so he keeps suffering as Jack goes on being Jack.
