Once I had the prompt, the parallel seemed obvious. At least Peter gets to me a lot cleaner and nicer than Tim did on Carnivale. I didn't get much of the hot until the Kate scene and then the whole thing came into focus.

It's nice to be writing for one of my "non-invested" shows. I enjoy White Collar without having terribly strong opinions about it, although I am developing a lot of fanon.

Yeah -- basically, White Collar is the happy fandom. :) It's a show that you can just sort of sit back and enjoy, even though it's still intelligent enough to be really engaging.

I was hoping you'd go for Satch (though I never say no to any of our other fandom puppies). It works even more when I tell you that a friend of mine has nicknames WC "The puppy show" because it's just happy and fluffy and adorable.

Anyway, definitely what I needed today. Neal is another puppy and Peter is always cleaning up after him, but he wouldn't have his life any other way. I suspect that after a year (or however long) of working with Neal he wouldn't give him back, so to speak.
