More Hamletting: a TV version of David Tennant's portrayal of Hamlet will be shown over Christmas on BBC-something.

I am waiting for that to hit PBS or a DVD over here like you would not believe.

I'm really looking forward to it. When David Tennant was at the RSC three of my friends were lucky enough to get tickets, they all said it was packed to the rafters.

Well of course. Dude! Dr. Who play Hamlet. Aside from David's talent, which I have no doubt of as well....Dr. Who Plays Hamlet!

John Simm as Hamlet?! That will doubtlessly be epic. I wonder if there'll be any way of seeing glimpse of it from across the pond. I am SO excited that at least Tennant's version is gonna be shown on tv here. :)

If I had the wherewithal, which I most certainly do NOT, I'd start planning another Squeeeeee Odyssey right now. Although I am actually planning to be in the UK over the summer. If I got to see this, it would be incredible. Either way, I guess we'll have to hope for PBS or DVD or something.

Oh gosh, no kidding. Are you planning to stay into September? because getting to see this would be very awesome indeed. I will just cross my fingers and hope for DVDs :/

Right now we're looking at late July/early August because those were the dates I could get and I'm trying to avoid Edinburgh during the festival. I did one trip that was centered around performances (Barrowman in Panto, Burn in Oliver) and that was a once-in-a-lifetime thing.
