Did I hear Stephen Colbert correctly last night?

Referring to the President's Nobel speech:

"I'll leave Keith Olbermann to stroke that shaft."

Or was that my slash-fogged brain making shit up? If not, it's definitely time for some for Keith/Stephen fic, which I admit, I've been over-looking since I became completely besotted with Keith/Rachel.

At least I'm not hearing things, but damn...that's kind of out there, even for Stephen. I wonder if Keith will mention it tonight, or whenever he's back.

COLBERT IS GOD!!!!!!! >_< And yeah, when I heard him say that, all that popped into me 'ead was the letters Y-A-O-I in big bubbly lettering with bright sparkles sparkling through and through.

[I pretty much worship the man! And he really could rally his Nation to do and buy anything, but he hasn't abused his powers (yet).]

Ah, one awesome benefit of being on cable v. network AND that most of the execs who oversee that stuff are too stupid to "get" Colbert so they pretty much leave him alone. Hence, the dee-lish of Mr. Stephen.
And he's had a few other gems that always makes me laugh extra on the inside... if I come across any in my recollections, I'll def share. >_<

I loved him on the Daily Show, but it took awhile for me to warm up to the Colbert Report persona. Now I adore him and basically my night is Keith/Rachel/Jon/Stephen. I ship them all and in any combination. Jon has become what Johnny Carson was when I was growing up.
