So, why the hate for Lance Armstrong? Don't really care either way for the man myself, just wondering what he's done to provoke your ire.

A lot has to do with his fans and the whole "Lance-USA" thing. There's patriotism and then there's Ugly American Jingoism.

Then there's arrogance. I mean he's earned it in on the bike. Clearly he did win more TDF's than anyone, but I just hate his attitude that he's entitled to it. Especially now that he's come back and he's insisting that he's the leader of the team and he gets to win. Period.

Plus, if you read his first book, his wife, Kristin went through HELL to have kids after Lance was treated for cancer. Then he dumped her. The sight of him and Sheryl in the kissy poo shots with those same kids used to drive me bonkers. Then he dumped Sheryl around the same time she was diagnosed with cancer.

Not such a nice guy.

Watching TDF again and knowing that Lance sent his team to chase down Hincapie today. (I know the other teams joined the chase eventually.) I just don't like the guy. Never did. If you'd seen me during the 2005 and 2006 TDFs you'd know how much I reallyreallyreally hated the guy then. It's a lot more mellow now.

And if you follow my House babble you know how much I hate the Newbies.

And chemistry. That's what I really miss. There were moments with FCC when the timing was so damn perfect and they'd share just a glance and you knew exactly what they were thinking.

Seriously, the only think I felt when Kutner died was "one down, two to go."
