Iphone and WATCH YOUTUBE while you were driving
WTF!

Hubby can now move his leg 90 degrees and he got a hair-cut
There's a joke in there somewhere, I know there is. It's just a bit too early in the day for me to be formulating one...

OTOH YAY! For both movement and haircut-age

He really needed the haircut. Now he's all fuzzy again. The days when I wanted him to grow his hair to 70's pop star length are long gone. (It just doesn't go with that bald spot.)

My other half looked dreadful with long hair *in* the 70s - but his hair is still dark enough that if he shaves it all off to blend in with his balding spot then he looks like a convict :(
Roll on him getting more grey bits :D.

K-guy has got the one bald spot in the back, but no major gray action yet. The last time he went shaggy he was actually doing the middle-age guy pony tail. *shudder* Hopefully we're done with that phase. Now he generally chooses to go close to the scalp. It's part of his zen thing. :)

I just started watching Buffy about a month ago. I'm on seaon four. For me, it is all about wading through some shit to get to the gold. There are like two to three annoying episodes before you get to a great one. Unfortunately, you have to watch the bad ones to appreciate the great ones.

We finished the first disk so I've been through the cheer-leading stuff and the Praying Mantis thing. No stand-out squeee-age yet, but I'm waiting.

I look forward to hearing your developing views on Buffy. I was a massive fan to the point of obsession whilst it was on, but since about two years after the last season aired, I haven't watched it at all.

It does have some stand-out moments, but you will have to stick with it. It's a grower, IMO.

We'll be starting the 2nd disk later tonight. I think I'm probably past the age where I could really latch onto it, but we'll see.

The age thing may be true. I don't know. Even if you don't get really hooked in, it's entertaining, well-written and the pop culture references in it make me happy in the same way they do in Spaced.

We finished disk two last night. I'm still definitely watching from a detached place, which may be affecting my reactions. Much as I'd like to get sucked in and have an alternate obsessed, it's not happening. I keep thinking--yeah, I can see why people would get into this, but it's not really happening for me. I found "The Pack" really disturbing and unpleasant. And I'm wondering how long Willow has to go on being the buttmonkey before the lesbian stuff starts. (I spoiled hubby for that when he started commenting on what a jerk she was for the whole Xander thing. He was happy.)

However, was it completely necessary to take out your Iphone and WATCH YOUTUBE while you were driving????

YIKES!

We take a LOT of cabs, and yeah, there sure are some weirdos out there. The worst recently was the one who insisted he could guess the sex of the baby based on the shape of my lips. WTH?

Did he make a guess?

We had another weird cab moment today as we ran into our friend Mike who we've known for years, but haven't seen in a long time.

He did, and he was right....but I don't buy his 'method'.

Yeah, but that's 'weird-good', right?

That was good-weird. I hope we get together soon. Mike's a bit freaky, but we all go back a long way, and it would be nice to catch up.
