Jools had waited many years for this day.
Tom Quinn, on his knees, even if for the time being it was only metaphorical. Trying to protect his precious Harry, amusingly enough, considering the distaste Harry would feel if he knew.
Sweat was showing through Tom’s usual veneer of disdain, but then of course the clock was ticking, none of which was, strictly speaking, Jools’ concern.
“Will you give me the information?”
Jools raised a cigarette to his lips and shrugged, enjoying Tom’s desperation, especially the knowledge that Tom thought himself so very unbreakable.
The skinheads always thought the same thing.
