Last year I expanded into customer service hours on my regular job. This week I'm transitioning to customer service only. It's stressful, but most members are very grateful for help. They offset the occasional grouch or screamer.

A lot of my anxiety is based on how much information there is to deal with and how quickly they had to do the training. The coaches are there for us to reach out to, but even a wait of a few minutes to get assistance is excruciating when there is a customer waiting on hold who is already pissed off.

We've been watching The Crown. We started with the latest season, and now went back to the beginning. We've finished S1. I feel sooooo bad for Prince Phillip! He's slowly being castrated. We might even be into S2. Margaret had to break up with her great love, and Churchill has been relieved of his post. We haven't watched it in weeks (cf my rant of a week or so ago). Some of the casting baffles me. John Lithgow as Churchill did a good job, but every time I saw him I thought, "John Lithgow". Likewise Jared Harris. The actor who plays David looks like him, but Jared Harris looks nothing like King George. Nor does he stutter almost at all. Since Jeff stutters it's not cool with either of us. Still, it's a wonderful show. The writing and acting are generally top-drawer, and the PRODUCTION VALUES! OH, MAMA!

Also, it always bothers me a bit when the actresses are so much prettier than the real life counterparts.

I've been binging Toast Of London starring Matt Berry. It's extremely weird and absolutely fall-down-funny.

I have your LJ bookmarked to go back and check your rant when I have time...probably at the weekend.
I don't know if it's possible to play Churchill without going over the top, but that was some of the most voracious scenery chewing I have ever encountered.
