I hope we can get together if you're here. Also, if you need to freak out while you're here, you have a willing ear in me. A transplant from Memphis got here eight days ago. Today I talked to him about the tremendous culture shock. The worst thing, for him, is the NOISE.

It's New York, so buy a lot of black. Black cocktail dress, black pants, black shoes, black blouse (or green). As you might remember, NYC is a fancier city than SF. Also feel free to email or call.

There's also AC to deal with. Not an issue here, usually. Our time is tightly scheduled, but we'll have a few hours in the afternoon of both Wednesday and Thursday. Depending on Hubby's hip, we might try to self tour the High Line. If you're near Times Square and want to try meeting for tea, let me know.

I second this. I'm a born-in-Brooklyn NYer. :D Black pants for the business casual with a nice top of a different color (don't go all black when wearing pants or skirts or they'll think you're going to a funeral). LOL
