Maui 2014-Day 1

Really good departure from Oakland, including Execucar pick-up at 5:00AM. Fairly smooth flight. Had breakfast at Koa's, my first of many helpings of Loco Moco, the beginning of road to non-Paleo perdition.

We picked up our rental bikes from Boss Frog. Turns out I can't ride a Cannondale "road bike" to save my life. WAY too light. It totaly

It was a really amazing trip. I'll post more tonight---best part was I got the good news about the job-it's definitely a go.

TBH the beach in front of Lahaina Shores is small, which is why I spend my time either in the hot-tub or a lawn chain on the lawn...also very rocky. You need reef walkers or the coral will cut your feet to shreds. The important thing is having it there. Nothing like sleeping to the sound of the ocean. NOTHING.
