Thanks sweetie! Jack's Gwen-fixation is undeniable. :)

No, it really isn't. I try to imagine a circumstance under which these two strong-willed people would ever have let ANYTHING get in their way if they really wanted each other and I just can't see it. You write well though and I always enjoy seeing how you will work an idea.

It's pretty obvious Jack came back from the trauma on the Valiant (both his year of torture and the sight of the Doctor's love for the Master) in a state of conflict. When he didn't find Gwen waiting for him with open arms, he took the arms that were readily available, but he never stopped plotting for what he really wanted. He just couldn't put himself out there enough to risk another rejection and more abandonment. That's the great emotional roller coaster for both Jack/Doctor and Jack/Gwen. Jack has so many ISSUES! It took until Miracle Day for him to even say the words to her, and then in a very fraught situation. (Jack/Owen is also made of angst, but that has more to do with Owen's traumas.)

Hehe :D. Jack really can be quite devious I guess.

Nicely done.
Your drabbles and fics are something I "grudgingly admire" as I found myself drawn to them for their quality and writing style, even when I don't agree with your Jack/Gwen shipping choice.
Well done.

Thanks for the kind comment. I appreciate you reading the work, even though I don't really ship, except Jack/Doctor. The writing, acting, and chemistry tell the tale and I just expand on it.

i'm not a jck/gwen shipper particularly (although there were some moments, particularly when jack found out she was engaged!), but i like this. i like the sizing up of her rock and planning a way around it!

Thanks. I'm glad you like this. I'm not a J/G shipper. I just go where the passion, chemistry and writing lead.

Lovely description of Gwen and Rhys' relationship, which I love. And a nice new way of having Jack look at it - very Jack!

Of course, given those scenes with him and Rhys in Meat too, I rather like the idea of Jack/Gwen/Rhys threesomes as his next move, but this works equally well too! :-)

I'm never averse to Jack/Gwen/Rhys and we know Jack wouldn't be AT ALL. (It would be like married executioners, only better.) I sort of the possibility open in my Jack/Rhys fic, IIRC.

However, here I only had 100 words and I really liked the Rhys as Mountain obstacle image.

Thanks for the comment.
