My favorite memory "Bill O' Reilly's Tips for Teens." "Now I'm no La Guardia, but I know a good shtick when I hear one." "(BillO Voice) "And my penis is bigger than Keith Olbermann's" (Cut TO :KO shaking his head no, eyes filled with barely suppressed filthy humor) Second favorite: how much Keith made Eugene Robinson LOL. Now, he'll "Touche'" O'Donnell and get amused at Rachel, but Keith's humor just slays Eugene.
Oh, and the tosses that launched a thousand, well, one, really, K/R 'ships. I think he called her "sweetheart" or something going into the holidays and I heard the swooning from here. Even though I was more like "Did he just..." And the night he told Eve good night from the box-- And I should stop, though I was like, dead from how cute that was.
What I remember is the first few times she was on the show as a pundit and the way she would look up at him through her eyelashes. I know it was just admiration and respect, but damn they had chemistry! Agree on Eugene and the rest of the "cast of characters," especially Wolffie. There's just something about the way Keith interacted with people...maybe his own personal crazy energy....I don't know...it's just not the same at MSNBC-land without him. :(

but I think they're into each other. If Sheldon Cooper is correct about multiple universes, there is a universe where they are looking at each other naked right now.(Ana Marie Cox has let her hair grow out, and it's totally hot on her,in today's edition of "Vaguely Sapphic Non-Sequitur Theater") Keith is a total flirt, though, when left to his own devices...sometimes when I read his twitter, you can see he's having late-night chitchat with a woman he calls an old friend, or, you know, "Hey, stranger," and all that kind of thing...I would think maybe new gf, except there are a few different ones.(Yes, I consider writing twitter-themed fics but I haven't yet.) Sometimes, he even makes with the smileys or "xxoo", which I wouldn't have guessed if I only knew him in righteous-outrage mode...maybe he gets drunk and nostalgic? "Countdown" was, more or less, a tour of Keith Olbermann's brain--no wonder guest hosts were so flummoxed.

No argument from me...I got into PLENTY of wanks over shipping it and suggesting they're might be some feelings there because het-shipping a canon gay person (in RL or fiction) is EEEEEEVIL and OOOOOOPPPPPRESSSION!
And I think you can say that without implying that all Rachel wants is Cornellian dick. I have quite a few flirtations that are still Never Gonna Happen. but that doesn't mean they don't spark. And our fandom is too small and nerdy to have wank(Except the "Scoring while you're alone," type of course. Plenty of that.)

Sigh...rightwing idiocy on twitter seems to be a recurring issue >:(

It drives them batshit that social media is the natural domain of open minds, something they completely lack. Both the openness and the mind.
