Summary: Star Fleet needs Torchwood. What could possibly go wrong?
“Captain Harkness, I hardly think this is the proper time for a libation.”
“Drinking’s not what I had in mind.”
Spock tried to control his irritation as he followed Jack into the bar. The man had no sense of propriety, boundaries, or the urgency of their mission. What he did have was the charisma and recklessness of a young James Kirk, without the ruthless ambition that had kept his Captain focused on work.
Seeing Jack’s swaggering approach to a group of attractive men and women left Spock with a renewed sense of loss.
He’d never missed Jim quite so much.
