Well I didn't think it was possible you made me like and even feel a little sorry for Diane.

But doesn't this new guy work for homeland security? More night alone for her.

Indeed! The woman is clearly delusional, which is why Gibbs and Fornell were so giggly about the whole thing. BUT, I can't help but trying to see things from her POV.

Definitely. Diane clearly has trouble seeing what's right in front of her. I think her choice in men gives a pretty good indication what she's looking for, and how much of an illusion it is.

ah poor Diane, still looking for her prince charming or her knight in shining armour.

Something tells me she is going to be disappointed - yet again.

Maybe she should marry an accountant or an engineer - those fed types don't seem to work out too well for her.

She definitely has a pattern and I'm sure she's going to be disappointed again. When Gibbs and Fornell broke out in laughter, I did sense a bit of sympathy between them. Thanks for reading and commenting. I just feel the need to give Diane her moment where she's something besides just a bitch.

I never,ever thought I could like Diane some day- but you made me do it. Poor woman- NCIS, FBI and now homeland security....I can't help but feel sorry for her. This is even worse than Gibbs redhead girlfriends/wives.:)

I'm glad I was able to do that. She's not presented sympathetically, but so far we've only gotten Gibbs' and Fornell's sides of the story. There had to be something that made them fall for her in the first place, and much as I love them, it couldn't have been easy for her.

Thanks! I may be the only person in the whole fandom who actually feels somewhat sympathetic toward Diane. I just hate it when "ex-wife" characters are demonized. I love Fornell and I ship Gibbs/Fornell like crazy, but neither of them could have been especially easy to be married too, and Diane must have had something that attracted them. Gibbs TWICE and Fornell even after Gibbs had tried to warn him.
