Oooh. Emotionally complex.

I initially read the summary as "What the butter heard," which... actually could work, but I don't want to think about how it would go with the feather!

Hmmmm...sentient butter? That would be very Torchwoodian.

Would I really like Jack? I wonder. Great fic, as usual.

OCD: I think there's one R too many in provider. Or one coffee too little in my system.

Thanks for the Beta catch. I think if you start with Jack from his first Doctor Who appearance and then go to Torchwood, you'd definitely like him.

The problem is, I really don't like TV so much. I might eventually watch Dr Who. Is there any season which you recommend for a beginner?

I'm basically a New Who person, who is in the process of going through all the old stuff.

For Jack loving purposes, you can start with The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances from the first series of New Who with Christopher Eccleston. However you can also start with the beginning of that Series so you get the dynamic between the Doctor and Rose before Jack showed up.

I like it. I like the little chicken joke and the complexity of what Ianto must be feeling. Great work. : )

Thanks so much. This was one where the prompt pretty much wrote the fic for me. Glad you liked.
