*frowns* Bertie has no no clue whatsoever about the dire consequences for Jeeves should anyone discover their relationship, does he? Makes me want to smack him upside his privaledged head, but it's obvious Jeeves is determined to protect his innocence. *hugs Jeeves*

That's why I can't completely buy into the "pure fluff" of most Bertie/Jeeves slash. The dire consequences are always there and it's Betie's naivete which makes the danger so real. Plus there's the privilege angle and again, the fact that Bertie genuinely doesn't understand the situation doesn't eliminate the dark undertones that exist.
