I'm all set up at my new office! The first two days were horrible because my corporate overlords don't want me using Firefox and they've set the proxies here not to contact it. That left me with Explorer and since Explorer hates Gmail, everything was running super slow. Then I ran into the fabulous smartmunkey last night at the Mint and she suggested Google ( Read more... )

Yay puppy! And thanks. I check out of the hotel this AM, and I think I've turned a corner. Now I think it's the psychological stuff I need to work through.

It really is. For years I said I never wanted to be an onsite, but when I really needed a job I did it. This is really the best of both worlds. I'm only dedicated to the one account, but I don't actually have to see them. Or be seen.

I'm not cut out for working at home. I need the minimal discipline of having to make myself semi-presentable and go to an office.

Plus hubby works nights and sleeps days, so I can't be home with the phone ringing.
