I really like this piece as it has some of an outside looking in when it comes to the BC/CC plotline and I enjoy the slightly wry tone and the pragmatic approach of things. (and well, anything with Lazard. I like the idea of him having entered the Academy very much)

However, and please only take this as well-meaning constructive criticism, I think you are off on Reeve's age. By the point we're up to, Reeve would only be 31. Which makes his commentary on Prof. Gast and Sephiroth's birth to be inappropriate (since he would only be abut 6-7 at that time). Parts 1-5 don't really mesh with the timeline. Everything after that is fine (other than Veld making the comment that he and Reeve have been in the company for more than two decades) , but unless those entries are attributed to the previous Director, they will just stick out to me.

*g* I knew I was taking a bit of a swing at Reeve's age, but when I was timelining it everything got really confusing because alternative source from everywhere cite him as being younger than/older than he really is/should be/might be. 8D COPOUT, I know. \o\ Even then again after a while BC/CC actually overlap to such a rabid degree that I just roll over and cede to being slightly AU.

The Lifestream's translations are probably your best bet (though I noticed that we accidentally mislabeled Reeve's birth year as 1972 instead of 1970). Like I said, everything from part 6 on is pretty much dead on in terms of the timeline, it's only the beginning that was fudged.
