With his sling bag as something to hold to, Takaki literally wasn't really paying any attention towards his surrounding. Not in his entire life he ever felt this weird before. Depressed but yet relieved. That wasn't normal, he thought.
He could only blinked when someone said sorry to him for bumping him. He didn't even realised that someone bumped to him. He turned his head and found a very familiar face there. "Oh.. Hi.." he replied, with a fake smile on his face."Yeah. What a coincidence." he smiled awkwardly.

"So, how are you?" He asked. Takaki doesn't look like he was happy, he look like as if he was just sentenced to death or something like that. Ok, he was exaggerating, but he could sense that Takaki definitely wasn't in a good mood.
Reply
"I'm good. Yes. I'm good," he replied. "What about you? Having an early evening walk?" he asked.
Geez~, Takaki kind of realised that he sounded so fake somehow. But maybe it was a good idea to socialize with people, get himself distracted for awhile. "Haven't seen you in awhile," he added.
Reply
"Coke?" He asked, offering the drink in his hand. "You don't look as good as you said." He gave a small smile.
"Well ummm yeah... kind of busy."
Reply
"I don't. I smoke occasionally, though. It calms me down.." he explained.
Snorting, Takaki clicked his tongue in disbelief when Kusano's ordered. "Marshmallows? How old are you?! Eight?!" he mocked the shorter guy with a small laugh. "Make the pizza large," Takaki quickly added before the waitress left.
"Don't tell me that they don't have marshmallows on the other world," he teased again.
Reply
"I'm in need of something sweet today." He said randomly and stuck out his tongue. The truth is, he just loves marsh mellows, and basically he loves sweet things. "Hey, I'm not sharing Pizzas." He protested "Make it two then." He told the waitress.
"They don't. they have mochi though."

Takaki just smiled lazily when he heard Kusano didn't want to share the pizza. It didn't take the waitress to long to come back with the emigrates. As he lighted it with the light on the table, he sucked it the small little tobacco stick and leaning back again to the couch.
His face kind of went bitter for awhile. It had been ages since he smoked, but he couldn't deny that it had always been able to calm himself down. "Mochi is just nice, and not as sweet. But lovely of course," he commented at the end.
Reply
And there it was again, the bitter expression. Sighing, he turned to Takaki and decided to ask again, not caring the comment about mochi "Seriously, what's bothering you? You smoke because you want to calm down right?"

He sounded like an asshole right now. But he would be lying if he said he still loved Daiki like he loved him last winter. Sometimes, when you heard nothing from your lover from such a long time, the love just died out. At that how Takaki felt about it. He was trying his best to keep on loving him, making excuses that everything was just fine, but they weren't.
"I just need to let go," he took another sip from his glass. "And don't worry. I won't get drunk from drinking tequila. But my face usually turned as red as a lobster when I drink it," he added, somehow giggled.
"Want to try this?" asked Takaki as he shoved his drink to Kusano. "It's really nice. But drink slowly or you'll turn really red," he added.
Reply
"I'm still leaving you here even if you are not drunk." He said as he take the tequila and had a sip. "Not my type." Kusano commented and hand it back to Takaki.

But things felt a little bit weird now with the fact that Daiki and he had just broken up. Takaki wasn't sure what it was, but he didn't like it. He didn't like to suddenly feel so awkward.
"Haa?! You are so mean, shorty. I'm heart broken here, right now. Be more gentle," he giggled, somehow amused by what Kusano just said. "Geez~.. Then what is your type of drink?" he asked.
Reply
"Geez, you are such a baby." Kusano rolled his eyes "What do you want me to do? put your head on my lap and sing lullaby?"
"Actually, nothing in particular. What type of drinks I drank tend to change." He explained "and current;y I'm not into that."

As he then realised what he was doing, Takaki quickly pulled his hand away. "I'm sorry.." he looked down to his feet. Somehow it felt different. For this unknown reason, Kusano's hand felt a little bit like.. a stranger? Okay, maybe not exactly like stranger but kind of as if he never touched it before.
It's so weird! I touched him so many times before! Ehhh?!?! he questioned himself.

"I didn't know you need me that much." He said jokingly and poke Takaki's cheek in an attempt to change the atmosphere.

"So, when are we going to the onsen?" he asked, trying to change the topic.
Reply
"you decide. You are the one who asked." He pointed out.

Once again taking Kusano's hand as he caught up with the shorter guy, Takaki tried his best to walk in the same pace as the other guy. "Okay okay. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. Don't get mad at me, will you?!" he groaned.
"Please?" he begged this time. Still, Takaki cursed again in his mind. What Kusano did actually kind off show Takaki how girly he could be with his attitude sometimes.

It felt weird now, holding hands with Takaki like that. They had held hands before, but never felt this awkward. He even used to like the feeling. what was missing? Kusano doesn't know. but it's probably the fact of the situation they are in.

"Ne.. say something?!" said Takaki softly at the end. "I'm sorry, okay?" he added.
It had been ages since someone got mad at him, other than Koyama and Ishihara last time of course. As in someone that he cared about. Wait. Did he just say someone that he cared about?! Eh?!
Reply
"I just don't know what to talk about." He said softly then let out a groan. He wasn't used being all quiet, and it frustrated him.
