Things I have accomplished today

Beginning yesterday, I undertook the task of organizing my LEGO bricks. The idea had been in my head since I read about a stacking method for stored bricks to a) make them easier to find in a bin and 2) make the stacks easy to break apart when a brick is needed. I read a blog post detailing that method a year ago, and have forgotten the source. duaiweRead more... )

Could it be the efficient stacking method Windell posted at Evil Mad Scientist Labs? http://www.evilmadscientist.com/article.php/efficientlego

We use that here, although I just keep 1x1 flat plates sorted by color and shape in a tackle tray. We have plenty of trays for it since I also use them to hold various embroidery and sewing items, plus now sorted-by-color Perler (heat-fusible) beads.

Love you, Bear.

Ooooooooh. That looks awesome.

Have you heard about LEGO Universe, the LEGO MMO?

edit: On second read, this sounds condescending. I did not intend it that way. I meant it with child-like enthusiasm and joy. :)

*laughs*. I am a big fan of the child-like enthusiasm and joy, and it did not come off as condescending at all. I've heard of Lego Universe, but had not been there yet.
