I rode my bicycle today! I pumped up the tires (the only thing wrong with it when I rescued it from being thrown away by a neighbor), dug out my bike lock, adjusted my helmet fit, rolled up my pant leg and off I went to the grocery store and Walgreens! I returned triumphantly with two Banquet Homestyle Bakes, two packages of frozen waffles, two packages of margarine and two bags of baking morsels (butterscotch and raspberry/dark chocolate swirl; I'm not saying which one is going into something for you). The cashier was quite amused by my ability to pack all of that into my backpack, but I only had to unbox the waffles to do a loadmaster-worthy job.
After that I went over to Walgreens to pick up some prints and a soda. Now I'm off to walk to the school (and ride home with a neighbor) to pick up Lali, and Vogon will come home from his first day of work to dinner and a cleaner living room. Hooray!
Hooray! Being a pack rat is useful sometimes, eh? ;)
I generally drink either English or Irish Breakfast Tea at work, mostly because that's what I have. I also picked up some Stash Chai Spice and Orange Spice teas on Saturday. Earl Grey (Hot ;) ) is also on the top 10.
Now that I have to pare down what I keep, most of the things I squirrel away turn out to exceptionally useful! Tonight I'm turning drawings my den did of tiger faces into sew-on patches for the den flag by tracing the drawings onto an orange fabric remnant, tracing the black parts onto double-sided fusible adhesive Mom bought when Evergreen Drug went out of business, sticking that to a black fabric remnant, then attaching the sticky black bits to the orange fabric and embroidering lines with a skein of off-brand floss I picked up in a clearance bin. Whew.
I love Stash decaf vanilla chai. Would you like an almost-full box of individually wrapped bags of Good Earth brand jasmine tea? I bought it thinking of loose jasmine tea Himself bought at an Asian supermarket in North Carolina, but it doesn't live up to my sweet imagination / everything looks worse in black and white. Wait, that's Paul Simon...
Thanks to the cool weather, I can send more interesting things without fear of morsels melting. This is a Good Thing.

If you don't want it, I'll take the Jasmine tea. Onca and I had a jar of jasmine tea balls bought at the Portland Classical Chinese Garden (or the teahouse there in) and she took what was left when she moved out. I agree with you on the loose leaf vs packaged tea, though any jasmine's good. :) My favorite was an orange jasmine blend a chinese restaurant in CO had. I don't remember where in CO though. Might have been Boulder, might have been Golden, might have been Denver. *shrug*
Evergreen Drug went out of business? That's at once surprising and not unexpected... Is there more to the story than "profits weren't big enough to stay open" ? When did it happen?
I'm less attached to the marble works now though, if you want me to run them up to your parents' place next time I'm in town (maybe during Giftmas, maybe after ... not sure yet)
Are you serious? *squees* Mom just picked up a new Marbleworks expansion pack at a yard sale for me with a crank launcher. I'm going to be the envy of my Cub Scout den. (Actually, that would take a large number of light sabers and Hot Wheels, but hey. I love Marbleworks.)
I'll be in Denver 20-29 December if you want to have lunch or something. (:

Jasmine tea is really good too.
