He totally IS! A little news of him, a hint of ANYTHING, his skanky face in the tabloids makes me ridiculously HAPPY! I have this feeling that if he's still in NEWS now, YAMAPI (as my ichiban) WOULD BE HISTORY! I love the way he acts, the way he dances, the fact that he is such a SCAREDY cat! I'm all for making entries in other people's journals, you knooow :P
One year or so ago I would have thought so about Kusano knocking everyone out of my list too if he ever did come back, the guy really is talented! And he's so funny and stupid, I love watching him. Right now I think he'd have to fight for second place with Toma (and Toma won't give up easily at all!) I've suffered through Yamapi's whole year of bad hair unwavering, he's secured his place for a looong time, there's no way I'm leaving my place until his hair goes back to being perfect XD
And you know Yamapi just wanted to mention Kusano even when he's not allowed, lol.
Am I too naive for still having faith in him returning? *sigh*
I love that he can by girly and manly at the same time? XD Do I have issues? LOL
I love him FOR failing, he should fail all the time. I don't dig him trying to be cool. He's naturally cool, trying so hard makes him uncool in my book.
We need a squish name fast but no matter how you put it, all sound wrong. I came up with YamaKo earlier

Oh, I forgot. Actually for me with Yamapi and Takuya is the other way round. I watch Pi dramas, and well, I'm quite happy with just looking at him but in the end I usually enjoy them Code Blue failed me so hard but KimuTaku? I just watch because of HIM, none of his dramas has left a strong impression on me, I haven't watched that many but still. He and his characters rock anyway, I don't rally ask for more :P
I haven't had a chance yet to watch the drama festival. I'm downloading it now to take with me to my parents this weekend. And I haven't had a chance to reply to any of your comments yet either. Will get to it sometime after this weekend.
Loved the interview! And oh, YES!!! Yamapi in a supporting role to Toma's lead would be AWESOME! I'll start crossing my fingers for that to happen now!

Well, he played second fiddle to Kame in Nobuta when he was actually more popular than him. At least Toma is his senpai, even if only slightly. I don't see why this can't happen, Yamapi would be the first one delighted with the idea, I'm sure. I'd rather have this than Toma playing a supporting character to him, because even when it's both leading roles it's always one more prominent than the other. YES PLEASE. LASKjLSAS I want something like that to happen so badly. The idea gives me happy chills. Then I feel like it would be even more painful to hope that they could do the theme song like Pi and Kame did, or like that Yuma kid is doing, but HEY, this is my dream world I am now entering into! The happy world where Tomapi is abundant. Let me live there for awhile.

I don't even want to let myself entertain the idea of a Tomapi unit, it's just so unlikely *shakes fist at Johnny* But anyway, I still do... I just look at those old videos of them introducing themselves as BIG, when BIG was just the two of them already and *wibbles* well, they were a two person unit once, even if long ago.
I love his silly expressions, I have no idea why everyone says he's inexpressive/has dead fish eyes/whatever, honestly clueless. But of course I am biased.
Oh man, I know. I'm like some sort of masochist. I have to constantly snap myself out of it because the unlikeliness ends up depressing me. Johnny, that hater. SNIFFLES. They make an amazing two-person unit. ;~;
So adorable! I tease that he looks like a fish (though not a DEAD fish) -- I have come to think he's very cute, and I believe it's those moments of expressiveness that made me realize his utter adorableness. I really didn't think he was that attractive (I still have a personal preference for Toma's look) and even kind of thought he looked odd when I first saw him, but he really won me over, and now he just looks pretty to me. So I can say from an unbiased (or at least less biased) point of view that he is not inexpressive or dead-fish-eyed. xD;
Gawd, I know, they were so meant to be the next Kinki Kids/Tackey & Tsubasa. Watching old videos it's always the impression I get. But I guess it was not meant to happen... I sikritly dream that NEWS dissolves, Johnny dies and there's still a chance *shush* I guess that makes me not only a very bad NEWS fan but a very mean spirited person as well.. I don't care, he has to die of old age some day anyway
