I've been ill, sad to say. Stomach thing, let's not discuss it :). I'm better today, wobbly and fumbly, but better.

I don't think I've mentioned it, but the kitchen sink is fixed. Wow, what a difference real running water makes. The hub was going to put in a bathroom sink, and I said, no, that if he wanted to work on plumbing, he could fix the ( Read more... )

I was just thinking this morning that I hadn't seen you around for a while, and hoped you were OK. Glad to see you back. Hope you flash today - I actually finished a story for the first time since October. (DQed obviously - just so you know, but it should be there. :) )

Hehehehe, I'd get so tired of how long it took just to rinse a freaking plate! This is a*maz*ing how nice the difference is :) I feel much better, thanks, and I think you are, too, which is very good :)

Good to see you posting. Have been wondering since I hadn't seen anything since you were in AZ. Will be good to have you flashing too. I did mine yesterday, if it didn't DQ.

Glad you're feeling better and good news on the sink situation. I've been in similar situations so I feel for you, my friend. We had a trickle coming out at this place for a while before we had the whole house plumbing redone and I won't even mention the school-summer house. (Okay I just did mention it but won't do details.)

No, I know, I've been lax, and then I've also discovered this series called, "Dead Like Me," which I love, and my Kindle I love, and bowling and work and then the other stuff, plus then I got sick, so I've been bad about visiting you all :)

What kills me about the plumbing was that it only took him about half a day to fix. Half a day! which, that includes reframing a wall and something else, I forget--pipish, I'm sure, but you *know*?! All those hours and hours that I spent hunched over a little trickle...however. I'm grateful it's done and a beautiful job, so I guess it worked out :)
