Really, State Board of Education?  Ugh.  I'm a Texan through and through, but this kind of thing makes me want to move (to a state that doesn't use the same textbooks as Texas).

super annoyed at this. I'm not excited about Nathan entering into this school system! I don't know that sending him to a private school would be much better (in getting a not-as-right-wing education...I do prefer the quality of education he would get from one though). At least my husband and I know things to supplement (or correct) what he will be learning. But all those other kids out there who have to accept it...overall, makes me sick.
