I think preaching to the choir in this case is a good thing. Too many lazy people out there think the presidential election is going democrat, so what's another drop in the barrel? Prop 8 matters, and needs every inch of support in defeating it. Bigotry is wrong. Period.

I agree. There are lots of people out there who support this injustice and you can rest assured that they will all go out and vote. I think that too many of the rest of the electorate assume that Prop 8's defeat is a foregone conclusion. They need to think again. This is important.

I listen to "Handel on the law" in the mornings on the way home form work. He's a fairly conservative lawyer who gives "marginal legal advice" on the radio. Despite his conservative views he does oppose prop 8. Why? He says "Gay people have the right to be as miserable as I am" ;p

I also love Wanda Sykes' response (in my own words)"You have a problem with gay marriage? Don't marry a gay person"
