I was nearly in a fistfight with a woman at our statehouse with signs about how the people should get to vote on whether gay marriage should be legal.

No folks. Guess what: you don't get to vote the rights of others. Sorry.

I do hope that for once, CA does avoid its love of direct democracy and just let it stand.

I hope that Arnold speaks out against any further attempts at Proposition Anti-Gay. He said it should be taken to the courts; it was, and he supports the Court's decision.

You know that this Ron fellow probably secretly visits leather bars. That's how them self-loathers operate.

I'm worried that a "no gay marriage" constitutional amendment will pass in California, taking this out of the hands of the courts.

It really bugs me that the threshold for constitutional amendments by proposition is 50% of the vote.

Why isn't it 2/3rds the way it is for so many other things related to the fundamentals of government?
