I don't know how he knew...maybe a lucky guess...but he never believed tomatoes were behind the salmonella outbreak. He thought it was jalapeno all along. I think my dad just dislikes jalapeno

You can probably still find jalapenos at the farmers market, if you are so motivated. Tomatoes never disappeared from the farmers market.
