aegyptus noted that I didn't post my schedule for this semester, and I explained that I did so but made it a private post for my own purposes-- Henry Ford Community College doesn't sort your classes by starting time, so they just leave that for you to do on your own. Holy crap, what kinda whacked-out college do you go to that the profs believe in the literal truth of Genesis and Noah story?

Henry Ford Community College, occasionally referred to as Hank High, since a lot of kids go there out of high school because a) they're dumb or b) they intend to transfer, and want to get some undergrad credits out of the way at a lower price. It's in Dearborn Heights, a suburb of Detroit whose claim to fame is having the largest Arabic population outside of the Middle East. It's honestly kind of neat because it's split evenly between black, white, and Arabic people. It's possibly one of the most racially diverse places I've ever seen.

Don't worry, the whole school isn't like that. This one teacher is just semi-nuts.

I already hate your history professor. You should ask him how old the earth is. Really, it bothers me that people like that are able to teach.

Your Ethics teacher seems pretty cool. I really do enjoy teachers like that. I had a math teacher who was quite young, and not really jaded yet. She would make us write papers like that and perform skits about math. And between discovering ourselves we somehow picked up a little math. okay, so we didn't really discover ourselves, but you know. Anyways, yeah, teachers who teach not only the subject and the facts but also the experience, tend to be rather cool.
