Too much of a GUD thing?

I've been brainless today, and I spent good chunks, between angry rants about this or that, promoting GUD.

Just wanted to make a little list of places I do this (though I didn't do all of this today, of course). Of course.

MySpace: the majority of our non-writer traffic (i.e. not Duotrope and not Ralan's) has come from here
Yuwie: a MySpace ( Read more... )

promotion, gud magazine, gud

That is a lot of work. oi.

Have you thought about buying some advertising in magazines that you like?

work I have in more flexible amount than money--I don't have a signed contract with Amy saying I can't spend more than x hours to make GUD happen. ;) But we have gotten ads in a handful of related magazines. Hard to say if we've gotten any real response to those--F&SF, ASIM, and (at some point) Apex Digest.

Writing a friendscraper for yuwie right now ;)

I might be off as I'm not keyed up all that well on the zine publishing world...but you might consider putting an ad in Sun Magazine. It's similar to GUD in the sense that there is not particular genre involved...I think. But lots of great writers. I think it's based out of the North East.
