First post of the year! Well. First real post :P
i. holiday thanks
I don't think I've thanked people yet, so before I ramble off further, let me extend my thanks to:
ficsation: Aki-chan says thanks for the clothes. You have fantastic taste!
yue_dermond: Thanks for all the clothes, gacha gachas & pocky! We love them all and will be doing a photoshoot as soon as time permits.
khursten: Please send my gratitude to Lingling. Please tell her that the cloth is very well appreciated and will go a long way in the establishment of our own sweatshop.

ii. new year's resolution
Well, more like a goal, but it requires a firm resolve to achieve. Anyway, joining PF and TQ last year, plus joining the 365 Toy Project on Flickr have shown me how much I enjoy taking photos. It's not a new discovery but until recently, the acquisition of a DSLR wasn't top priority. But I have decided that I have pushed Natsume to the limit and while I will be keeping him on as my staple carry-along camera, I need a DSLR. And I will try to get it within the year, hopefully I raise enough funds in time for my cousin's planned trip to the US in the second quarter of the year.
In the meantime, I really need to go to Hidalgo and get my old SLR looked at. I miss the discipline dictated by film photography. Plus, I really need to brush up on my photo skills. I've been reading up on the technical aspects of photography again, and this time, taking it much more seriously. It's funny how I'm doing that when I don't have Ms. Sibayan (my college Basic Photography professor) breathing down my neck anymore. I'd love to get her input now.
iii. playing with godot
I've picked up Trials and Tribulations again after spending the longest time on case #2 (the one with Masque D' Mask). And heehee, midway through the Maggie Byrde case, I realized, "Hey. That Godot is kinda cute." So now I'm hooked, and it drove me nearly insane with fangirly glee when Diego Armando entered the scene during Mia's case with that death row escapee. That's the case I'm on now, I still wanted to play but I had to stop because I was going to work already.
Anyway, now I really want to own that Phoenix Wright figure set. I'm disappointed to see that playasia doesn't have it in stock anymore, but I have my eye out for this ebay auction with the whole set. I'm hoping the price doesn't go up much so I can afford to bid for it. And I hope the seller ships international, but in case she doesn't, there's always one of my relatives so getting it is still a possibility.
iv. books and movies
97 books and graphic novels. Massive fail though, since they're mostly manga. What was supposed to be an attempt to read more ended up as a chronicle of all the manga I've read. Fail! Movies and tv series fared a bit better at 55 watched movies / tv series. I know it's not much but considering I counted whole seasons of tv shows as just equivalent to one movie, I feel successful already, knowing I logged hours and hours of viewing time.
Hope I fare better this year!
v. new year, new bodies
Finally, the bodies I ordered for Sachiko and Seiji have arrived. Plus, I picked up a spare Obitsu body from April so I can finally obitsu all my dolls. Hopefully can manage to do that tonight.
Oh, and I went to a local Pullip meet last Sunday. Photos on my Flickr.
