An important thing I’ve learned about long-term relationships at age 57 is that to have a long-term relationship --> at some point you have to forgive each other for being asshole humans.
I guess/think, this applies to all ages, if you aim for anything long-time-running.
To get something "stuck" in a state like this, you have to not run away from someone at the slightest blow (of wind) in your face... And try to take things on, take struggles between each other on, in a constructive manner.
