Hm... The point of "less likely to commit crimes" I'd fight about... But - something else here. I'd interpret this as a sign that the US (as a country) meanwhile has a problem what to do with all these people. - Where to keep them, where they'll find affordable housing, food, education, electricity, water supply; resources overall.
Of course, the move of the govenor of Texas to send the buses full of migrants over to New York, like "you always say I'm not supposed to send these people back; well, here! go, care for them yourselves! stupid snobbish cosmopolitan bunch!", will surely also have its own personal motives - because how childish is it to act like this? - As the Republican political camp has its problems with migrants, and especially such which it fears about that they'll take just a Dollar from the remains of the social security systems that still exist...
But - still, I wouldn't believe that its all that there is to get about this issue.
