Better replace "patriarchy" with "conservatism" and "religious conservatism" - 'cause that's what is the problem.
Conservative women are in favor of banning abortions as well, and not even only these!
The women besides those brainwashed with "conservative values" and religion, in general, have a subtle, slight or bigger problem with distinguishing between themselves and another woman - acting in this matter like, if another woman would get an abortion, it was to them like their beloved future baby was being killed, or their womb and ovaries cut out ( ... )
