I know the stock market is fundamentally unpredictable ... but when this latest bear market started, I tried to model its course, and started shifting around my retirement funds accordingly -- although these shifts were small. The only thing that can add a component that's hard to calculate about AI is if designers and manufacturers manage to create computer chips which function according to algorithms that can "teach" themselves things on their own.
So to say, if an AI really becomes able to acquire patterns it didn't have in its original programming.

Otherwise so-called "AI" ist just that what it's programmer designed it to be.
The better the programmer, the better he thought everything through, the more an AI is being pre-fed with data, the better and appropriate the decisions it can make.

It's not much different than what developmental psychology knows about human development. - Feed AI with pieces of information, give it something comparable to all the senses that humans have, and just then it becomes able to actually copy or even surpass human intelligence.
