And if you either think it's morally okay or not - that doesn't change how it was.
It should rather teach you something else: That the comfortable life you're used to as being completely self-evident, it stands on very thin stilts. Historically, it's very recent - and it took a lot of effort to get there.
This world isn't the elementary playground as you college-educated Americans imagine it to be in your safe bubble and in your cloud of school miseducation.
