more comment (re: cultural appropriation)

It's difficult for me to get excited about cultural appropriation, mainly because it usually feels like a "victimless crime". Who is getting hurt by it? Not simply offended, but either physically or economically hurt by it?

Cultural appropriation has always existed at all times since human societies exist.
For example: Does anybody still care today about that the Romans first fought the newly emerging religion called "Christianity" and then later became one of its fiercest defenders and spreaders, even banning almost all non-Christian confessions (even its own original domestic religious beliefs)?

And while one is already at it with those "world religions"... Everyone concerned with "cultural appropriation" who still goes to some church or mosque should best file its application to leave even today. Why? First, because those two religions originate in the geographical area that is the modern day state of Israel and some other countries in the Middle East.
Second - 'cause both world religions didn't reach their far range that they have today just by simply knocking one peoples' door and convincing them to convert. No. They lead bloody wars for that, suppressed people, killed people who harbored other confessions, forced them to convert. In the case of ( ... )
