I posted on the poly subreddit about my older age pride, that I'm not a predator if a younger guy reaches out to me. At first it was downvoted and I got some critical comments. So I stopped reading the comments. But later I saw the post has been upvoted a bunch with 83 comments at that moment. I don't know whether I'll read all of them. Or any

Despite lacking time and energy, I get the impression it can be pretty toxic if you don't harbor mainstream positions of certain subcultures and scenes.
All places where this is the case, I'm better of to not parttake. My limited energy is too precious to waste it with people which just only come shouting and snapping at me if I don't say the "right thing" or what they want to hear.
