Tuesday stuff

It's windy today.  Yesterday we received a lot of rain at the house, and if we hadn't upgraded our basement, it would've flooded again.  The new drainage system worked, but we could tell what would've happened if it hadn't.

That's all assumming that the vaccine works constantly and not like the seasonal flu shot - if you manage to catch a slightly different version of the virus, then it's already useless again...
If it's like that, then it's just a brick to make things safer again and to be able to open up the public life, but it won't manage to let the disease disappear and to save oneself the troubles of keeping being on the watchout for one's health.
