I didn't realize there's a tug of war between left-wing Christians and right-wing Christians over whether Jesus was a "refugee" or not.

In the US, you need Jesus to justify doing anything.
If refugees weren't a topic all around the world, nobody would be interested in figuring out if Jesus was a refugee or not.
