The last time I looked into carbon offsets, several years ago, there was an international charity that offered "population offsets". All millionaires should be forced to pay into such funds - because lots of them enjoy condemning abortion for people without money, but make arrangements for 3 for their own daughters if it fucks up their career plans. So obviously, they have no problem with the procedure in fact - so they can also make sure, the normal populace can use these services too.

Helping birth control, that's a different measure to reduce human emissions on the whole (not just C02).
This is even effective indeed - because there can be no fraud via white-washed statistics of factory equipment. Humans which aren't there are humans which aren't there.

Thank you for mentioning the abortion funds. It hadn't occurred to me to look for something like that. I found my local one and plan to make a monthly donation.
