I have to think of a series or theme for my photo final that makes ppl
think & I have to have more than "I like it" as a reason why. So far everything I have thought of the Prof has said No to. I'm running out of time. And it cant be old pics, the pics have to have been taken this semester.

Hmmmm...that's hard one. I remember lots of nature ones, such as autumn leaves. I remember lots of people ones, sport ones, that is, with lots of reds in them. And a few of interesting structural things.

One theme I can think of includes renewal, starting again, out with the old and in with the new sort of stuff. Does that help?

My daughter was supposed to do stuff about where she came from AND have a strong environmental theme. I think she managed only to do the second half. I think she could have doe more with the 'where she came from' bit, although she did include water stuff (and she grew up in a hinterland from the coast environment) (she had fishes and other marine animals), so her approach to that was very subtle and subconscious, which was her aim, but she didn't mention it in her 'blurb', which I thought she should have.

But that's just my opinion.

Good luck with this! It's probably the hardest part. Artists communicate with images, not words.

Thanks. If I do come up with something she approves of I'll let you know.

That would be cool.

I forgot to say, there is a lot of red in your photographs. Could be symbolic of family (personal and country), life and energy.

I'd really be interested to read a summary of what you come up with.
