Dear Vast Unpaid Researsh Department (VURD), i.e. KC LJ list readers,

I'm giving a class for my church at the end of August on Sustainable Living in an Urban context, and I was wondering if there are any farmers' markets in or around the metro area besides old Overland Park and Lawrence, and do they have a system to take food stamps? Also any ( Read more... )

parkville has a farmer's market, and i know something goes on at the zona rosa shopping area north of the river.

Briarcliff Village has a Farmer's Market on Thursday afternoons (It's in the parking lot of Green Acres Market).

River Market has a Farmer's Market on Saturday's and Sunday's.
