Anyone know a place in this area to get a mower, riding or push, without breaking the proverbial bank. We're talking $100-300.

wal-mart is land of the cheap lawnmowers... but most all mowers are under $300. Walmart at Bannister used to have mowers as low as $59 a few years back, but they were damn near disposable. They still have some of the cheapest on the market though.

Keep in mind that this is PRIME lawn mower buying time, on a prime weekend, so the pickings will be slim. When I buy the kids bikes for Christmas, they're $49-$79... when I wanted to pick one up today (prime season) they're back up to $85-$149. Bleh.

I have a push mower that I don't need anymore (I've just moved into an apartment and therefore don't need it). It's almost unused. I'll sell it for $50 if you're interested.

If you are interested, e-mail me at msconner@gmail.com. I'll know it's you if the subject line is 'lawnmower'.

I bought one at Walmart last year, for around $250 (I think). It has been great to me so far. I spent a little more on it because it had a mulch bag and was self propelled. It seems to me that it's pretty nice, considering it came from Wal-hell.
