Any suggestions on a place to hold a baby shower in the Lee's Summit/ Blue Springs area?

We are really looking for something other than a restaurant, but a restaurant that doesn't cost a ton would be ok too.

If you're into the natural/cloth diapering thing, I'd check out Happybottomus in Lee's Summit. I know they have an area for playgroups, which would no doubt be able to accommodate a shower as well. I haven't been there yet, though, so I don't know if she's receptive to that sort of get together, but you could try!

The back half of the store is wide open, and they have three couches back there with a coffee table.

Awesome. I am actually doing a registry there so that might work out great. I haven't been able to get out there yet thanks to being sick. Any idea how many people they could accomodate?

I'm not sure, I went there on opening day so they might have added some stuff since then. It's not really big, kind of medium sized so maybe 10-15 people?

i went to a bridal shower a few years back on the square in independence at a little shop where everyone could dress up. this might be a really cute, fun place for a baby shower, too! i really wish i could remember the name!!
