Saw 9 today.

Unfortunatly I lack an approriate icon for this occasion. I do however have fanart! (Right at the bottom.)

Liked the flick over all, but thought it lacked some in the plot department. It just wasn't thought out as well as it could've been. I blame Tim Burton's involvement like I always do. Also, 2/5 is the only ship from that movie I acknowledge. ( Read more... )

I completely agree about 3 and 4! And I agree about 2/5 too. It was one of those movies where everybody is cooler than the main character.

If he'd just been written better...-shakes head- Ah, well. Fanart shall ensue! There'll probably be an art dump following this.

This pleases me. I just posted about the movie in my LJ too. No winsome art from me, alas.

2/5 is canon as far as I'm concerned. I did like that 7 was the butt-kickingest of them all.

Sorry, I think I replied to the post instead of your comment by accident. I seriously think the creators of the movie implied 2/5 on purpose. And I don't often say that about movies. But in this case, well, just look at their body language when they interact with each other! And there were official promotional materials that described 5 as having "a special bond" with 2.

If you're interested in doing any fic or art for 7, I've started the community stitchpunkgirls for the characters who can be read as girls. My initial post focuses on the twins because so far everyone else seems to be treating them as boys by default, but 7 is welcome too, and the 7+3+4 group is extra-specially welcome! 8)

That is awesome! I should totally advertise this comm on dA because I've seen a few folks there automatically label 3/4 as girls.

2/5 is really obvious! I don't say this very often, but I seriously think the creators implied it on purpose. Just look at their body language in their all-to-brief scenes with each other!
