Acting class? Cool. Good training for public readings of your fiction.

Whats the Oddy lecture on?

I'll be talking about different types of conversation, with most of the material pulled from Writing Dialogue by Tom Chiarella and Writing Realistic Dialogue and Flash Fiction by Harvey Stanbrough.

Ha! I'll try say everything in a Patrick Stewart-ish accent.

Speaking of chickens, I went to a friend's house the other day. Her chihuahua has a rubber chicken toy. Apparently the dog has been trying to tear it to shreds. Perhaps a world war between chickens and chihuahuas is on the horizon?

And stop throwing those chickens! They hurt!

Don't deplete your chickens. That's how they escape.

Becky may still have the pole position, but take heart in the fact that you've already lapped me in this race. :) Hooray masochistic procrastination!

I still need to figure out one more way to make the monkeys dance at the Salon Fantastique.

Ohhhhh, I wish I could go to TNEO with you guys!!!

I have about the same number of short stories out as you do. It takes so darn long to get them all polished and ready to go -- it just kills me. I'm hoping this gets faster with time....

I wish you could be there, too!!!!!

Oh, the length of time it takes to write and rewrite and polish a story is agonizing. When is it my turn with the time machine again?
