While keeping a blank and cool expression, he can't stop the rising tension in his shoulders. Turning ever so slightly, Marco looks at the corner of his eyes -

[ Such as not having a consistent home, being a vagabond -- the absence of his brother. Returning to this manner of existence: And Itachi sees no reason to comment on his appearance. He knows what he must look like, but aesthetics have not been his priority during recent times. And his personal troubles are not something Itachi especially wishes to speak of, nor does he suppose Marco especially wishes to hear of such matters.
For his part, Itachi would be satisfied with a distraction. During these days, all things have seemed equally meaningless; he has nothing better to attend to.
When Marco turns, he does not pause in his consumption of the candy. Nor does he have any intention of pausing. He will finish it, certainly. But more to the point: What, exactly, is Maahko-san doing here? ]

[ Although were Itachi being entirely honest, he is a little confused by what exactly this boy is talking about. ]
What is Dee En Ay that one would become allergic to it? Is it a poison of some kind?
[ Itachi seems to have some recollection that people in his own world have been known to become allergic to certain fruits, oils, nuts, shellfish, and, on occasion, even alcohol, although he does not suppose that these green creatures have a constitution which contains much nuts, fruits, oils, or alcohol -- and he does somewhat wonder what is Dee En Ay and in what respect it relates to these items.
Overall, he finds that the entire matter sounds rather convoluted. ]
In the world that I come from, we create pacts with the animals through blood and through shared wills. Sometimes through force.
We use scrolls.
Summoning jutsu.
It seems as though this would be easier.
