Anyway.
She starts to wonder if there's someway she can get some "volunteer" to offer some blood when she spots a familiar face. What's her name again? Oh. Right. Right, then.

[ Chrome looks up. Oh, it's that woman -- the one who. Well, which one is she? Oh, yes. The one who was sleeping in a cave (!). Chrome remembers now. That woman who said that she wanted to go somewhere dark (she's still boggling a little, at that, but, yeah, preference). What was her name? ]

When he got off work early because he'd been working so hard lately and his boss was insisting he take more breaks, he'd gone straight home like a good boy, of course. Only to find no one waiting for him.
It isn't exactly that he thinks his friend has disappeared. He refuses to think that. However, the fact that Yoite didn't leave him any word makes him feel ... lonely. Sad. Nervous.
So he's gone out on his own, and he's wound up in this place he's seen people talking about on the Hitomi, and now he's sitting in a sake shop with a cup in front of him and trying to look tough, his katana at his hip and kunai openly displayed in outside compartments on his messenger bag.
Never mind that wearing a sweater vest sort of kills the 'look tough' thing.}]
