This... was why Yoite wanted to be erased. The things he put people through... the memories he left them with... the worst part was that these were people he cared about... and cared about him. When had he let his guard down?

He was stupid and selfish for letting people become attached to him.

Especially Miharu.

Yoite knew that Miharu wasn't...innocent. He had suffered through things that a boy his age never should have... and worse the boy couldn't remember what they were... but he still had the pain of the scars. What scared Yoite was that Miharu seemed to fit a little too well into the world of Nabari.

Yoite... didn't want to be the reason why Miharu became stained with blood.

"...because, I want to protect you..."

I'm going to get you out of the Nabari world

"I know...I'm sorry if it scared you...or worried you, Yoite. But I'm okay...I promise."

As gently as he can, Miharu moves onto his side unintentionally tugging at Yoite as he does. Being on his back for so long had began to get a little uncomfortable the best thing he thought to do was to lay on his side. Though he didn't know if Yoite would lay down too.

"Have you slept anymore?"

He shook his head and tried to stop himself from laying down beside Miharu. The light but obvious tugging, whether or not it was accidental, was a soft beckoning that Yoite wanted to give into. To be close to the one he trusted, and to sleep... to rid himself of this exhaustion. But he had to denied himself both Miharu's kindness and rest.... he didn't deserve them.

"...its... best if I don't have more dreams..."

Miharu rested there on his side looking up at his friend with a curious expression. He knew that if he hadn't slept he had to have been exhausted by now...and that he was awake while he, himself was deep asleep. A soft sigh left him as he moved to sit up a little.

"...you need sleep though..."

Yoite gasped quietly and moved to try and gently hold Miharu down... to silently insist upon him resting. A hand going to cradle the back of Miharu's head and the other softly splayed across the boy's chest to try and settle him back down amongst the pillows he watches protectively.

"R-rest... Miharu..."
